Welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound. As an avid flower lover, I wanted to share my Sedum 'Autumn Joy' plants. From about late August and continuing through the next two months, the blooms on this succulent plant will go from green, to pink, to a coppery brown color.
This is a wonderful perennial to add to your gardens if you like a hardy, dependable plant. They tend to tolerate drought conditions very well and will attract butterflies and bees to your garden. Plant them in large clumps for the most drama. I've had these in my garden when we lived in the Midwest and they also did very well in that cooler climate like they do here in Georgia.
In closing, I would like to introduce a new blog {to me} I paid a visit to last week. Hop over and visit Melony at Whimsy Daisy. She has this adorable craft cottage her husband built for her {we'll call him Mr. Wonderful} and it is decked out in a delightful vintage style. So much eye candy for the vintage lover.
Wishing you all a lovely day..
Beautiful flower. Hope your day is full of Pinks.

What a beautiful flower ... totally new to me. You mention it does well in drought conditions so I'm wondering if it would do well here in Southern California. Thanks for the tip ... methinks I'll check it out. Thanks also for dropping by my very first Pink Saturday this morning. Hope you have a wonderful weekend ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

So nice to hear from another 'Sue'. Thanks for your heart warming comments at CollectInTexas Gal. I too have Autum Joy, although mine haven't bloomed yet. We're finally having rain in Texas and I bet they will as soon as the sun comes again. Have a great Pink Saturday...Sue

L♥ve your pink goodies this week. Just when I think I have enough pink in my life I participate in Pink Saturday and see even more sweet things I’d enjoy having in my home or flowers for my gardens or just to look at☺ What could be better than the color pink dancing in your head all morning?
Thanks so much for sharing. Hoping your weekend is filled with sunshine and the comfort of those you love and who love you.

Well, knock me over with a feather!!! I came over here for a little Pink Saturday visit and see my name in your post. What a very nice surprise! Thank you for your sweet words...I'm debating about showing Mr. Wonderful...his head gets big real easily! Just kidding. I will have to show him, and it will make his day. Your flowers are beautiful, and this is exactly the kind I need...hearty. :)

Hi Sue,
Thanks for posting the picture of the Sedum!! I have never seen it before although the name is familiar. It's gorgeous. I hope I can find it, if not, I'll order it online. I love it. I'm working on my garden and I keep adding more perennials, so this is a great 'heads up' for me.
I looked at your last post. Happy Birthday, Sam!!! What a cute guy he is. I have an 18 year old daughter we can fix him up with!! lol! Long distance relationship, right?? ;-)
Happy Pink Saturday, Sue!!
xoxo

Happy Pink Saturday, Sue. My computer is still sick, and I'm sneaking in a few minutes on my husband's laptop.
Your blooms are gorgeous. I'll have to remember them for our yard.
