First, I'd like to wish Beverly a speedy recovery on her recent surgery!
A listing of all this week's participants can be found on her blog, HOW SWEET THE SOUND. I haven't heard that there isn't a list, and knowing Beverly, if humanly possible, it is there waiting. If not, it wasn't humanly possible!
One thing I enjoy doing is making my own cards. If only the other demands of life didn't get in the way, I could have made many more than what I ended up making. But I'll share some photos I snapped along the way.
Mother's always like to receive a little love note at Valentine's, don't they?
This particular roll of vintage wallpaper was more fragile. In order to give it more stability, I first lined it with muslin. I've found the most economical [but very effective] method of adhering the fabric to the paper is using a glue stick. I buy them in bulk at Sam's Club as I go through a lot of them!
I'm still having problems with Typepad freezing up on me and losing my work. Scream loud. So I'm going to stop while I'm ahead! I'll look forward to hopping around to see as many of you as I can. Due to a winter wonderland hitting the Atlanta area [a very rare event in these parts] a few things on our calendar were cancelled. More JAMMIE TIME...yeah!
Wishing all you sweet pinkies a very special Valentine's day!

I just lost my comment on your post. Grrr.I love the beautiful talent you have with the cards you make. An art form at it's best.
Hugs, Jeanne
Typepad won't let me post. I have to go to another Browser. I wonder what is up with typepad???

I love your Valentine, and what a clever idea to adhere the fragile wallpaper to fabric! I never thought of that.
I also love those little word cards, what are they called? Are they vintage?
About typepad, I was having the same problem, and it was really driving me crazy. So I finally switched to Mozilla firefox instead of using internet explorer, and the problem is gone! I have'nt had one problem since. I also rarely have any problems with web pages freezing, or other errors. Firefox is fantastic!

Precious and wonderful card in every detail dear Sue!
Great tip about backing the wallpaper, I just happen to have some gorgeous pieces that someone VERY special and generous shared with me....now I will be brave enough to use some!

Sue, these are so pretty. We do love our Valentines, don't we? ;-)
I am just back to work this week. It had been so long since I felt like visiting, and I missed everyone.

First of all- I adore your wallpaper pockets!
Second, I cursed Typepad for months. I made complaints, talked to the help department, and was made to feel like it was my computer's fault, (even though it happened no matter what computer I used) and was never told by them that it happens a LOT on Windows Explorer. I switched to Mozilla Firefox and never had another problem.
good luck with it!
